Microsoft has spent forever and a day preparing the newest release of Internet Explorer. If you do not download it yourself, you will receive it via Automatic Updates in the coming weeks. While IE7 is supposed to have greater conformance with CSS standards, Windows users are still much better off with Firefox. Web designers are encouraged to test their sites to make sure they are compatible with IE7.
One of the challenges of web design is working to ensure that web sites look the same or close to the same in all browsers. The biggest challenge has been IE6. Let’s hope the much heralded release of IE7 is worth the wait.
